2026 Louisiana K-12 School Safety Summit

Dr. Bruno Dias and Dr. Matt Talbot look forward to joining school safety leaders, administrators, school resource officers, mental health professionals, emergency response partners, and community stakeholders from across Louisiana. This year’s theme, “All Hands on Deck: Navigating Safer Schools Together,” reflects the collaborative nature of effective school safety. Prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery require a coordinated system, not isolated efforts or one-time training. KOI’s sessions will focus on practical school safety implementation, including Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management as a prevention capability, and understanding the "hidden red flags" driving some to carry our targeted harm.
